Humbling Beginnings

I am the righteousness of God. Romans 1:17

I confess and believe Romans 10: 9, 10. And I am justified by Faith Romans 1: 17. But just don't take my word for it. Read all about it in His Word and then you will understand Romans 10: 17 and afterwards you can proclaim Romans 1:16 and say too: "I AM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD." Then praise and worship by rejoicing and singing "JESUS IS REAL" and dance like David did.

Well, here's your answer:

     I am a struggling black woman with goals of being a successful writer in hopes of fulfilling a lifelong dream.

     Well, I have already done that! I have written to date, two short stories and a book of poems: "Reflections of Madison, Breaking Chains and Spoken Word." 

     I have finished the third book to end the finale titled "Gateways Past," but this one has been hard to publish; not because it's not completed, but because of financial reasons. 

     I am still working on trying to get it published in January, 2014. 

     I know, I said Gateways Past is the finale, but, I have far exceeded my expectations on my writing ability and ventured into writing a prequel. 

     I have been writing this one for a little over a year and it's called; "Meager Means" the untold story. So, please sit back and relax and watch how this thang unfolds! 

     You think you know? But, you have no idea!

Friends

This word is a sacred one to me. I have a very close circle of friends. A very close circle... so, close and small in number I can count on one hand.  Don't be upset I have given you the other word, associate. It is not as close, but still endearing.

My Lord defines the word friend in this way. Great love has no one than this, than to lay down one'a life for his friends John 15:13.

Of course, I know that this maybe one sided, but I don't have to deal with that. I give it all over to God the unthankful people. And let Him deal with them.

I am so thankful I have friends. Some I talk to daily and others not so often, but we know that friends, true friends are forever. I thank God for them all new and old.

A compassionate heart is a friendly friend!

Psalm 136:1

Oh, gives thanks to The Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

It Is by Faith

Hebrews 10:34-36

For you had compassion on me in my chains, and joyfully accepted the plundering of your goods, knowing that you have a better and an enduring possession for yourselves in Heaven.

Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.

For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the Will of God, you may receive the promise.

Sword

When you're up against the wall, use God's power to fight back that enemy. Pick up His sword and go to work. Pray for your enemies... Some people say, "This is hard to do," but to me, it isn't.

I read, meditate, and pray over the things of God and I know, if I want to be like Jesus Christ, I must accept everything as Christ. He didn't just die for me. He died to save us all, Mankind. It is written: that you may be sons of your Father in Heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust Matthew 5:45.

Christ loved us and we were once His enemy; but He gave us a chance to become one with Him. Accept Him TODAY! He's the only choose of true change and then you can love your enemy with the love He has given you.

Pick up your cross today and go to work on behalf of your enemy. The reward is great and it awaits you.

What is your reward in doing this?

A heavenly resting place for your soul in Him.

Real Love

Real love, God's love forgives all... And If His love resides in you, you will have no problem with turning the other cheek and forgiving all wrongs. Real forgiveness is abiding in God's agape love... Love thee neighbor and forgive thee faults, TODAY!

What's In Your Closet?

You make yourself look ugly and less than you profess when you make derogatory remark(s) about someone else. 

Why is my happiness a concern of yours? I choose to be happy and there's nothing you can do about it! When God is your everything you can and will be happy even in the midst of your storms (adversities) because you'll have peace, REAL PEACE! Yes, it is hard, but a must. I choose to NOT complain and be unhappy and I look at the good in every situation in my life and smile and am happy in it. It could be worse, but thank God... It isn't! So, if you would just give your circumstances to God and stop trying to do me harm... You can smile and be happy too. IJS

It is so much better to love and be happy than hate and be evil. 

Facial Expression

I am typically a happy person and silly throughout the day. But, my facial expression my reflect something different, and is very noticeable by all who knows me. But, if you didn't know me what would you think? Okay, I will not touch that. But, it is not "a some kind of look expression" The look is deep meditation. I am holding onto God's hand. Everyone knows I love to laugh. I enjoy it. Didn't you know laughter is a gift from God? It is medicine for the soul, and it cannot be taken away from you unless you allow someone to rob you of it.

Well, I refuse to let the enemy steal me blind of anything, anymore. I smile and laugh because I AM HAPPY AND FREE!

READ! And let GOD open you up to ETERNAL LIFE!

Today is the day of salvation. BE SAVED AND SAFELY REST IN THE WORD OF GOD!

Working Is What I Do

When I awake, I praise and give God thanks for allowing me to see another day. Then, I read my daily devotional reading(s) and read what thus says The Lord from my NKJV Bible. Finally, I go to work interceding for the people on my prayer list; asking for healing and restoration in their lives. I ask that He help the lost unbelief, and for God to meet the needs of His people...etc. and rejoice because I count it done in Jesus' name.

The Anchor

Why live a meager existence when you can live as royalty. My people live a life as though you are free; not the definition as the world gives, but God's .You must, get into His word so He can breathe life into your existence. By reading His word He will refresh you anew. It will open your spiritual eyes and hears to His still small voice. This is the path of righteousness. Be sensitive and believe what you read. That's how your faith is ignited. He will breathe life into your meager existence. Accept Jesus as your Savior, Lord, Christ, Messiah and King and give yourself over to Him the only One that can save and change you into someone better. Do you want to be set free? Read His Word (The Holy Bible).

I Have the Victory

When people are being mean-spirited against me; I lift up the name of Jesus and feel secure in His Love and in my circumstance.

I praise Him and I am thankful that He is my safe place, high tower, refuge, rock, and my everything! I place whatever or whoever in His hands and in return He gives me His love, joy and peace to continue in Him and make a dead circumstance... VOID!

Then, I sing and rejoice! "I will bless The Lord at all times and His praise shall continuously be in my mouth. Thank You, for Your mercy and grace."

And then... I pray over me and the situation and I proclaim victory!

Set Free

He has opened the eyes of my spirit and set me free from my fears and my insecurities.

God's great love for me. He said it best: there is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love 1John 4:18.

Thank you; Father, I love you! And it is  written in the word of God: We love Him because He first loved us V. 19.

I can take everything to my Daddy and He can and will work it out for my good, because He knows I love Him. And it is written: And we know all things work together for good to those who love God to those who are called according to His purpose.

I say, "Yes!" I know my life was predestined. I say, "Thank You!" I am a chosen child of the Most High God. Read all about it in His word Romans 8:28-30.

Holding On For Dear Life

A Church

My thoughts were preoccupied and I could only think of the Lord's returning for His Church. Would I be one of the vessels? Was the question prevalent in my thoughts? He spoke, "You are My child and as long as you are obedient and do the work I have gifted you with... I will come for you."

The Shifting Movement

A Spiritual shaking in my life had awakened the supernatural being God is grooming me to be; a daughter of The Lord. The rejuvenating of the loving God is on the inside of me. He gives me loving and precious moments in His Presences.

For The Love of God

Since becoming a Christian, prayer has become my life. Communing with the Lord's guidance of me and interceding on behalf of my family, friends and enemies that most will be true believers of the Word of God... Because He is His Word.

The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

God's Timing

"Everything Has Its Time" all events are in the hands of God, who makes "EVERYTHING" happen in His appropriate time.

Preparation for Service

As God prepares me for His Ministry, He healed me from all of my fears... Giving me total peace.

The gift of laughter

Joy resided in the pit of my stomach. Then I released it and laughter sprung forth and sung its own profound melody.

Real Confidence

My confidence is building afresh everyday, and all of my insecurities, worries and fear rolled away once I entered into a personal relationship with my LORD. He is my strength, and with Him I can stand my ground!

Genuine Love

Love isn't aggressive; it's an attitude of gentleness that oozes loving kindness.

His Ministry

He is preparing me for His Ministry that will advance the Kingdom of God.

We are to grow in His Word and help gain future disciples.

Once you come into your own... God does the increase, but you must decrease.

     Yes, sometimes the stresses and pressures of this world tries to get me down. But thank God, I know that worrying is a sin and the Word of God commands us not to do it. But cast (ALL) of our cares upon Him, for He cares for me.

     My daily confession is: Father God, in the name of Jesus, I come to You as humble as I know how asking that You guide me through this day because I know that I will encounter some things I am unable to handle and I cast all of my cares, burdens, anxieties, pressures, stresses, griefs, sorrows, iniquities, trails, transgressions, sins... ANYTHING THAT THE ENEMY TRIES TO BOG ME DOWN IN MY SPIRIT TO USE AGAINST ME.. I freely give it to You! For I know You will always lead me in Your perfect love.

God Is Love

A Real Gem

God's love is infection. It spreads across the face of the world and whoever in its path it radiates openly.

I had the honor of witnessing this great love for a long while but explained to me in-depth by a marvelous and generous heart. The extending of Gods blessings transferred to a special and much deserving young woman with stage four cancer.

Father God, I thank You for raising up more warriors to fight in Your army.

A Mothers Prayer

I refuse to let my children be captivies of the enemy. Through Jesus Christ, I have the power and the strength to speak and call into existents on their behalf.

I plead the Blood of Jesus Christ over my children name-by-name and my grandchildren name-by-name.

God has shown me the way and I pray for mercy and deliverance and that they all come to know Jesus in a strong way.

I ask for forgiveness for them and ask that You, Heavenly Father, send someone their way to reveal Your love that they all
will want to earnestly follow You!

I pray and intercede on their behalf that they do not die in their sins. I know in my heart that they were also called because they accepted our Savior at a young age and I believe one day soon the Holy Spirit will be quickened in them and they will obey.

Father God,
YOU ARE AWESOME; sometimes when I don't understand what's going on with them You convict me and bring back to my remembrance I was once there and Your Spirit speaks" After you plant the seed I'll (GOD)do the harvesting!"

Father God, I thank You that my mother prayed for me.  I thank You that my mother had  a praying mother.
