Want to know what's up with Author Dawn Brown?

Well, here's your answer:

     I am a struggling black woman with goals of being a successful writer in hopes of fulfilling a lifelong dream.

     Well, I have already done that! I have written to date, two short stories and a book of poems: "Reflections of Madison, Breaking Chains and Spoken Word." 

     I have finished the third book to end the finale titled "Gateways Past," but this one has been hard to publish; not because it's not completed, but because of financial reasons. 

     I am still working on trying to get it published in January, 2014. 

     I know, I said Gateways Past is the finale, but, I have far exceeded my expectations on my writing ability and ventured into writing a prequel. 

     I have been writing this one for a little over a year and it's called; "Meager Means" the untold story. So, please sit back and relax and watch how this thang unfolds!
